Giannini an Italian Brewing Tradition

Giannini an Italian Brewing Tradition

A Brief History:

Giannini has been long regarded as an industry leader in quality cookware and stove top coffee pots since 1968. The company is committed to blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies which has led them to be known worldwide as the iconic coffee pot manufacturer.

The Naked Bean, here in Western Australia, has had a long history of distributing Giannini brewing equipment. We ship Australia wide as Giannini’s major Australian Distributor. It is one of our best preforming retail products and it’s not hard to see why with its classic design and exceptional craftmanship, there really is no other stove-top brewing equipment that can match its outstanding consistent performance.

Un-matched design and functionality:

One of the most appealing aspects of Giannini coffee pots is their aesthetic appeal. Crafted from stainless steel and manufactured with Italian quality, this pot will add a touch of elegance to any kitchen or dining setting.

It has a heavy-duty handle that is designed to stay cool during the brewing process making this a very safe and user-friendly brewing system.

The mechanics of a Giannini coffee pot typically involves a two-chamber system. Water is placed in the bottom chamber while coffee grounds sit in the middle filter. As the water heats, steam pressure forces up through the grounds, resulting in a perfect coffee extraction every time. The construction of the fastening system between the two chambers is vitally important to ensure a consistent coffee extraction every brew. Giannini holds a patent for their specific fastening system which ensures coffee perfection in every cup!

 Brewing Tips:

1.      First and foremost, select quality coffeeNKD Espresso is a perfect companion to the Giannini with its strong bold flavours, you will know you have had that all important coffee hit. Being our signature blend we highly recommend using NKD Espresso as your coffee of choice.

Selecting the grind size – Selecting your coffee grind size is vitally important and will have a significant impact on the overall flavour profile of your morning coffee. You are going to want select stove top or grind number 3.5 to ensure the correct grind coffee bean is going into your new Giannini.

Water temperature – The use of filtered water around 93c is optimal for extraction, its very important to avoid boiling water directly in the pot as this can result in a burning taste to the extracted coffee.

Cleaning – Very important. Keep your Giannini clean by washing with warm water and avoid using detergents which can leave residue causing tasting issues

Be experimental & have fun! – Adjust the coffee to water ratio to suit your taste preferences. A good starting point is one part coffee to two parts water but once you have extracted at this ratio a few time try some alternative ratios to see if that suits your taste buds.

You can certainly purchase a cheaper stove top brewing option, but you will find a stark difference between that, and the performance of the Italian made Giannini. Not only will it outperform all competitors in quality and consistency, but the traditional sleek design will also enhance your kitchen aesthetics.

Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or a casual drinker, investing in a Giannini pot can elevate your daily coffee experience. Lean into that rich tradition of Italian coffee culture and embrace the charm of Giannini coffee brewing equipment, where history meets modern day pleasure in every cup.
